Showing Kathleen St. Andrews then onward to Edinburg

So Linda and Mike decided to take Kathleen and me over to St. Andrews. We figured Kathleen couldn’t possibly come to Scotland without seeing St. Andrews. So we took a lunch, some tea and our flip flops and headed over to West Sands beach in St. Andrews. We walked down to the Eden Estuary which wasย gorgeous then headed into town. We gave Kathleen a by-car tour then parked down at the pier and walked through the abbey and by the castle to get to Jenettas. We had some ice cream at Jenettas, the perfect thing on a very hot sunny day ๐Ÿ™‚

On the way back to the car we stopped by a public toilet and it was the most incredible public toilet I have ever seen! It looked more like a chapel than anything!!! So I had to post a picture of it. It was incredible ๐Ÿ˜€

After St. Andrews we headed back to Dundee to finish packing up for a few days in Edinburg. We put together some visa paperwork and sorted out all the tidbits for traveling to Alaska. It was not exactly the most fun I’ve had this week. It is quite stressful even having to think about the visa situation. But soon it will all be over! I’m looking forward to when I have a visa permanently in my passport ๐Ÿ™‚

So we left to head to Edinburg. Had another Gilmore Girls marathon. Showed up at Gran and Grandad Hayes’s house just in time for a cup of tea, a wee visit, and a look through their books. Andy and Kathleen both got a whole stack ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyways, so it’s touring Edinburg tomorrow! Hopefully the weather stays nice. I brought a waterproof jacket just in case ๐Ÿ˜›
