Giant Sea Turtle!

Today we went on a bit of an adventure up to Hapuna Beach a bit north of our condo.

On the way we stopped off at a beautiful marina where we got to see a giant sea turtle! He was easily bigger than Lily and she’s 6 years old! It was incredible seeing him slowly swim through the water taking so few breaths! Sea turtles are so incredible.

So incredible!

Lava tube!

Then while we were driving we spotted a lava tube and HAD to stop! If you want to know what a lava tube is check out this link. There’s actually a photo of one of the lava tubes that we walked through

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lava_tube. It was pretty amazing hiking through the caves and just generally being amazed at what nature has to offer the world and the immense power of volcanos/lava. So we had a wee photoshoot in this incredible place. Lava fields as far as you could see!

Then it was onto Hapuna beach for some hardcore boogie boarding! The waves were incredible and it was so much fun playing in the waves with the kids. Everything is better when you have a 6 and 9 year old around 🙂

Goofy kids, LOVE THEM!
