Heading out for our “all kids date”

This morning we got a lovely visit from my old violin teacher and one of our old friends, Morgan and her husband Bobby! I haven’t seen them for years so it was lovely to catch up over breakfast 🙂 We grabbed our snorkeling gear and took Morgan and Bobby to White Sands beach to have a look at some sea turtles. They had never gone snorkeling before so it was an exciting day 🙂 We let my parents take them out to lunch and Andy and I took the kids off to an “all kids date”.

Very excited for their giant piles of shaved ice :)

Isaiah had been talking about shaved ice constantly since landing in Hawaii so we surprised him with a giant pile of shaved ice!

We played at the beach jumping off of rock walls and running around in the sand. I love hanging out with these kiddos ❤

We left the beach and met up with the Leigh family at a super cool park with a wooden castle play area. So a few hours of playing followed by a bbq made for the perfect end to the day 🙂

Such a cool playground!
