OH my goodness, SO CLOSE!

OH my goodness, SO CLOSE!

So Andy and I decided to take advantage of the sunny weather and go off for a picnic day in Richmond Park. Richmond Park is one of the Royal Parks of London and is the biggest, home to about 400 deer! We had a lovely time walking around the park which since it is massive took basically all day to walk around the entire thing. The park is really unique in that it is not tended to like most parks with benches and bins everywhere, the grass mowed, and a coffee shop every path intersection. Most of the paths are just made of dirt so it makes you feel like you’re out on a country walk even if you’re just a 15 minute walk from Victoria Station. I really liked that it felt like we got to go out in the country for the day even though we also got to stop by a few shops on the walk home πŸ˜‰

So easy to forget we're in the middle of London

We got to have a picnic, watch some deer, explore the back trails, and Andy even bought me an icecream. I love being able to pop into London just for the afternoon to have a look around and be home in time for dinner. A top of of the tan, and a tummy full of icecream makes for a happy Hadassah πŸ™‚
